The Bolton Program is night ski or snowboard at Bolton Valley every Friday after school for five weeks of the winter. Students sign up for this program through the Parks and Recreation in Essex. To get a sense of what it is like for students who participate, we asked a few people their thoughts.
Riley and Nathan: They both enjoy Bolton. They have the freedom to eat what they want and do what they want. It’s a nice way to end the school week skiing with friends! Some of their favorite trails and lifts are mid mountain, the Vista Quad and Vista Glades and Preacher also the bus is fun and crazy.

Lucas: Hanging out with friends is fun. His favorite lifts and trails are the Vista Quad and Sherman’s Pass, Enchanted Forest and Hide Away. Another fun thing he likes to do is to eat food with friends Riley, Nathan, Matthew, and Charlee O. He really enjoys challenging himself by skiing as fast as he can and eating pizza, chicken, and fries.
Matthew: The food I like is the Chocolate Waffles and pizza. Also I like hanging around with friends because we get freedom. My favorite lift is the Vista Quad and my favorite trails are the Vista Glades, Sherman’s Pass, Enchanted Forest and Hide Away.
