What Is The EMS SLC

What is the SLC? The SLC used to be two student organizations (ALC and Peer Leaders.) The ALC (athletic leadership council), was a group that announced sports and put on the staff-student basketball game. The Peer Leaders was a group that worked on anti-bullying and Fall Back Jamboree. They have combined all their talents into one group called the Student Leadership Council. The SLC has planned dances, made a dodgeball tournament, and ran Fall Back Jamboree. The SLC is currently working on the student-staff basketball game and the school dance that will happen on March 15.

Current 6th graders looking to join the SLC will have the opportunity to become a member as 7th graders. It is a great chance to meet others and have a voice in school activities.
