National News: World Event Takes Off

In July, astronauts will be heading back to space. This will be the first launch with astronauts since 2011 (8 years ago.) Because we have not launched a rocket with a crew in 8 years, we have been dependent on Russia's space program to get information. There will be a test flight on March 2nd (without a crew) and in April there will be another test that will also be without a crew. A launch with a crew is expected in August. This mission is going to go to the moon. In 2019 it will be 50 years since the first moon walk which was in 1969.
