Navigator: Book Trailers

On the Navigator team in Language Arts, students are made book trailers with their book groups. For the past five years in Language Arts, Mrs. Rose has had her students read a book with a group and then make a trailer for the book to get other students to read it too! This is a way for students to show their creativity and hard work to get as much from the book shown in a short amount of time. Each year after all of the book trailers are done the Navigator team holds the Oscars. The top three book trailers get picked by the students to be shown at the EMS Oscars. This year, the candidates were Running Dream, A Cavendish Home for Girls and Boys, and There Will be Bears. After, random judges voted for the trailer they thought was the best and would be announced at the Oscars. This year A Cavendish Home for Girls and Boys won the Oscars!
