Pink Zone Game

The Pink Zone basketball game at Essex High School was on Thursday, February 14th. This is a basketball game that goes on annually between Essex Middle School and ADL’s girls' teams, as well as Essex High School and another school’s girls teams. This year the high school played against Burlington.

The games admission and money fundraised by the players go toward UVM breast cancer research. This is the game’s 12th year anniversary and the Pink Zone has raised over $25,000 in the past 11 years. The Pink Zone game, that happened on February 14th between EMS and ADL, was a sad loss for EMS. The score was 26-11, ADL beating EMS by 18 points. This year, the EMS-ADL and the JV/ Varsity games raised over $2,500 for the cause.
