Do you like adventure and mystery? Action and science? If so consider reading the Monstrumologist by Rick Yancey. The story follows a young twelve year old protagonist named Will henry an orphan boy who lives with a doctor named Pellinore Warthrop In 1888. Dr. Warthrop is a rich man with and unusual profession in Monstrumology. The doctor is an extremely hardworking man with violent mood swings and he will go weeks without sleep or rest. The Doctor and Will find an unusual client upon their door at asking them for help. With him he carries a corpse with an unusual thing lying beside it. An Anthropophagus a tall beast with razor sharp claws and no head. After finding the beast Will and the Doctor try to uncover the mystery of how they ended up in the US and try to stop them before they take over New Jerusalem. The book is available in the EMS library my final rating is an 9/10. This book contains blood, gore , some violence, and minor language.
